Owned Media Executive / Junior SEO & CRO Specialist

Switched On is a full-service digital marketing agency that unites the best talent from across the industry to deliver business changing results for our clients. 

We are looking for a full-time, Owned Media Executive, with a passion for online marketing and wanting to craft a long term career in Digital Marketing to join our Sydney office. You will have an opportunity to join an industry leading team, working on national accounts with exposure to the global AKQA and WPP AUNZ network. 

We will actively grow your skill set through access to industry leading training and mentorship from across the WPP AUNZ network.

 

Key requirements:

  • 1+ years of hands on SEO experience and/or 1+ years Conversion Rate Optimisation experience (agency-side preferred)
    Candidate must have an understanding of how search engines work (key algorithms and how this affects client strategy), and how websites should be optimised to draw more traffic and promote conversions
  • Experience with both on-site and off-site optimisation
  • Candidate must have working knowledge of Google Analytics, and have experience extracting meaningful insights from it
  • Experience improving the user experience of a website, driving a better conversion rate, and running A/B tests
  • Analytical mind and strong attention to detail
  • Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, Digital Media or Digital Marketing (or equivalent fields)
  • Working knowledge of website code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript and similar frameworks) will be viewed favourably 
  • Excellent people and presentation skills, client-facing experience suited
  • Passion for online marketing and an eagerness to learn every day

 

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with internal teams and clients to drive measurable business outcomes
  • Day-to-day tasks will include research, audits, assisting SEO managers/directors and delivering work to clients alongside the client-service team
  • Execute tests, collect and analyze websites + data, identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum results
  • Define client requirements and tasks, and execute implementation
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in digital marketing and SEO, present back to the agency and clients where required
  • Assisting all Owned Media team members on internal tasks, products, innovation and team progression
